          Zeer Liu (Clarence) is a Chinese artist from Wuhan, currently specializing in jewellery and glass, based in Western Canada. He also has a passion for fashion design and pop choreography, which enriches his multidisciplinary approach to contemporary material art. He initially discovered his passion for jewellery, adornments, and fashion-related art through his practice in glass, and his recent research focuses on exploring relationships by using jewellery as a companion. Clarence graduated from the Honour Bachelor of Crafts and Design program at Sheridan College in 2022 and joined the MFA program at Alberta University of the Arts in 2023. In the summer of 2024, he joined the Material Matters Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design as a guest artist, participating in an self-directed study course.
